Broccoli Casserole Recipe

A creamy and cheesy casserole made with broccoli and a crispy topping.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can cream soup mushroom or chicken
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • ¼ cup onion chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare dish.
  2. Cook and drain broccoli.
  3. Mix sauce ingredients.
  4. Combine with broccoli and cheese.
  5. Transfer to dish and add topping.
  6. Bake until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Drain broccoli well
  • Use fresh cheese
  • Do not overcook
  • Let rest before serving
