Fry Bread Recipe

A simple fried bread with a crispy exterior and soft interior.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm water or milk
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add water and form a dough.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Rest for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Divide and flatten into discs.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden on both sides.
  7. Drain and serve warm.

Notes

  • Keep oil hot for best results
  • Don’t over-knead dough
  • Serve fresh for the best texture
  • Customize with toppings
