milk or cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Peel and chop potatoes.
Boil in salted water until tender.
Sauté garlic in butter.
Drain and mash potatoes.
Add garlic butter and milk.
Season and mix until smooth.
Serve warm.
Notes
Use Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
Avoid overmixing
Add warm milk for the best texture
Customize with add-ins
