Garlic Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Creamy mashed potatoes flavored with garlic and butter.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Peel and chop potatoes.
  2. Boil in salted water until tender.
  3. Sauté garlic in butter.
  4. Drain and mash potatoes.
  5. Add garlic butter and milk.
  6. Season and mix until smooth.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
  • Avoid overmixing
  • Add warm milk for the best texture
  • Customize with add-ins
