Homemade Egg Noodles Recipe

Simple homemade noodles made with eggs and flour.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 –2 tablespoons water or milk if needed

Method
 

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add eggs and mix into a dough.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Rest dough for 20–30 minutes.
  5. Roll out thin and cut into strips.
  6. Boil in salted water for 2–4 minutes.
  7. Drain and serve.

Notes

  • Rest the dough for easier rolling
  • Add flour if sticky
  • Fresh noodles cook quickly
  • Freeze for later use
