Method
- Heat oil in a saucepan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and water and stir well.
- Mix in vinegar and black pepper.
- Combine cornstarch with water and add to sauce.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Remove from heat and serve.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness with more or less cornstarch
- Add chili flakes for spice
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor
- Stores well in the refrigerator up to 5 days
