Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Combine cream, butter, sugar, and cocoa in a saucepan.
  2. Heat and whisk until smooth and simmering.
  3. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips.
  4. Stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Add vanilla and salt.
  6. Serve warm or store for later.

Notes

  • Use good-quality chocolate
  • Do not boil the sauce
  • Adjust the thickness with cream
  • Reheat gently before serving
