Mango Sticky Rice Recipe

A classic Thai dessert made with sticky rice, coconut milk, and sweet mango.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sticky rice glutinous rice
  • cups coconut milk
  • cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes sliced

Method
 

  1. Soak rice for several hours.
  2. Steam rice until tender.
  3. Heat coconut milk with sugar and salt.
  4. Mix rice with coconut mixture.
  5. Slice mango.
  6. Serve with extra coconut sauce.

Notes

  • Use glutinous rice only
  • Do not boil coconut milk
  • Let rice absorb flavor before serving
  • Best served fresh or slightly warm
