Steak Fajitas Recipe

A sizzling dish of marinated steak cooked with peppers and onions, served with warm tortillas.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 tortillas

Method
 

  1. Mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and spices.
  2. Marinate steak for 30 minutes.
  3. Cook steak for 4–5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove and rest, then slice thinly.
  5. Sauté peppers and onions until tender.
  6. Combine steak and vegetables.
  7. Serve with warm tortillas.

Notes

  • Slice the steak against the grain
  • Use high heat for the best flavor
  • Don’t overcook steak
  • Add toppings like sour cream or guacamole
